Recovered the first bullet to actually stay in a hog today. 129 gr Barnes LRX still had 100 grains intact and embedded in the shield on the off side. 2” of shield, shoulder blade and spine destroyed and a rib on each side as well as another 1 1/2” of shield, mushroomed to just over .75”

Shot was just over 300 yards and it’s too rotten to get close enough to photo. I should have taken photos when I recovered the bullet but my hands were bloody and I didn’t care to have my phone get bloody too. My helper had gone to bed and I dang sure didn’t want to wake her up just to take photos.
