    ouch

never heard of "Andy Roo's" before as I grew up in Metairie and get back home to visit family several x's per year

i did a google search and pulled up their website

looks like another brand of Cajun / N.O. Seasonings with a colorful logo/label

i'm willing to try anything as i'll have to pick some up and report back to you

I'm partial to the local stuff from Acadiana since I know it's real Cajun seasonings and where it comes from

*** if you want some Cajun seasonings, drop me a PM and I'll mail you some

    hope this helps

be sure to give us an update if you have some

Guy I work with gave me a bottle of the dirty rice and red bean seasonings. Gonna try the rice tonight and the RB&R tomorrow. I'm rather skeptical of the RB&R, because I make 'em pretty well without any help right now.

Mine tastes just like Popeye's, as well.

I used the dirty rice seasoning he gave me, added a little fine chopped andoullie (sp?) to the mix. It was fair, but not great, imho.

I grew up in Baton Rouge, so the flavors are never too far away. I will say this for Roo's, though: I used the RB&R seasoning with a can of red beans and some sliced andoullie. For a ten minute meal (including minute rice), it turned out pretty good.

red beans and rice is hard to beat

we never use white rice, only dirty rice

i also add a few tblpsns of liquid smoke to my rd beans when their slow cooking.

then i mash some of them up to get a thicker texture .... i.e. Popeyes
