Dirty Al's for fried family platters. Pier 19 over the water.

Some of the best mesquite grilled fajitas in Texas are at the Louie's upstairs Sportsbar.

The Louie's buffet. It is buffet food...but they have crab legs...all you can eat.

DO NOT MISS....Cap n Roys. Small no frills place. Blackened shrimp and fish....and the FUMI SALAD!!!!!!!

        BUNJEE Juuuuuuump.

                    Btw. G5gal,

I like your style. I could eat at Daddy's and Dirty Al's lunch and dinner for 4 straight days at the island!!!

Do yourself a favor and go to the Chef House across in Port Isabel for a lunch. It's a very small place, but it is top-notch cuisine at a great price.

Pelican Station in Port Isabel is owned/operated by the same people as Dirty Al's. Same menu, but might be easier to get into and better service on the holiday week. It's on the water right before you get to the Queen Isabela bridge.

Does Snoopy's still exist? That used to be some pretty good eating back in the day!

Dirty Al's has awesome fried shrimps and great prices. Blackbeards has great burgers. Louies Backyard has a prety good buffet. All you can eat prime rib and crab legs. They have a nice deck to watch the sunset over the bay. Daddys has good cajun style food for northern Mexico.

Several good ones mentioned. Dirty Als blackened shrimp. Gabriela's is good too. But I can't visit without hitting up the padre island brewery for pizza and their wheat beer.
