I went on my annual hunt to the ANF week before last. It seemed to me I missed the rut this year, I didn't see the variety of bucks that I normally do. Saw plenty of deer I shot this spike and a doe. I don't have pictures of the doe, I dropped my camera from my stand and broke it 30 minutes before I shot her. 30 feet is hard on a camera!
We had a good week, 6 deer between 3 hunters is nothing to complain about. We saw 2 really nice 8's. One came in to late for a clean kill, the other stayed to far out. I love public land hunting!!!
