Turkey opener was a bust. Never sat in such windy conditions as we had this weekend in Coleman county.

I didn't even try yesterday either. I have to set my blind up for each hunt due to cattle this time of year and in my old age said no.

I’m in now. Haven’t called yet. Letting everything settle down. I had to put up a blind and I’m not good at doing it quietly.

Travis co was a bust yesterday. Had a little bit of back and forth with a gobbler, but he never came closer. Didn’t even go this morning, didn’t pack warm enough clothes.

We had a miss Saturday morning. Messed up a hunt with 4 wheeler. Then connected early afternoon. Yes sir the wind was brutal all day. We were in Coleman county some where.

It was brutal in Priddy! Since it’s more than a few hour drive from Houston we have it our best try. We are usually consistent on the ranch we were hunting .... This weekend we did not even hear a gobble.
