Mine finally got her tormentor this week. She ate the head then carried it around for two day. It started getting ripe and I hauled it off.

Our Jack Russel heeled mix has been known to catch a few rabbits. She hasn't caught a squirrel yet that I know of.

No decoys.
She spends much of her day on a long lead in the front yard. She's a flight risk so it's an extra handicap.

Our Aussie will get them. He runs at them several times never jumping and they will eventually get closer and closer to the ground. He eats his share of tree bark when he does make the jump.
