    3 shots-

This was with the Hornady Whitetail 129grainers.
Luckily for me it likes the cheap stuff.

After being tickled with that 3 shot group I threw 2 more at to appease the 5 shot group crowd-

This is with the Hunter spring and one trigger nut replaced with a washer.
It could stand to be another pound lighter and I might worry about that later. As it is right now there will be no “oh snap” discharges while aiming that my lighter triggered guns sometimes surprise me with.

I’m happy enough with this rifle to consider replacing my sons youth 7mm-08 with one of these now that he’s mostly grown up.

      Thanks guys.

Pretty sure I ordered mine from Academy, free shipping over $25 and it comes to you ( so you don't have to worry about it being in stock at the store or filling the cart with all the other stuff you didn't intend on buying while there [emoji16])

Bought one today (for a ranch gun) at carters country on I-10.
Bought some Hornady ammo (129 Interlock)
          20% off second box.
Now to get my rebate ! And a spring.

Timely post here. Cleared up a couple of my questions.

Currently the stock trigger feels okay to me, not much play and it does have a crisp break. Im used to shooting a 3lb trigger on my AR so im hoping that spring will help.

This group was shot with Hornady Black 140gr. When I was breaking in the gun I had a solid 3 hole group just less than .5 MOA with Hornady ELD-X 143gr. Did not have any issues with shots stringing, though I was worried as well but then again, most I've shot consecutively has been about 10-12 shots before a 10 minute cease fire at the range.

Muzzle break will be great if you don't have a can. I have the silencer co ASR brake mounted and without the can the recoil is close to maybe a .243.

I'll take that spring off your hands if you still have it. I ordered the 300WM Compass yesterday.

For the money they are about the best you can get. Fit/Finish is a little rough and sloppy. Of all our rifles the compass’s shoot the tightest groups
