    Venice Tuna Fishing

Any TBHer's fish for yellowfins with VooDoo charters out of Venice, La?

Invited on a one day trip on the 18th of this month. I have done lots of offshore fishing out of Key West, just looking for any comments or suggestions. Thanks

Catching tuna off the lump this time of year is hard to beat, you’ll have a blast.

We fish Venice every year for yellowfin.
Like it best when blackened but don’t over cook it,leave 1/3 in middle pink.
                      Good as a ribeye IMO.

I like cutting right off the fish and eating.

VooDoo is always bringing big ones to the dock when we are there. Make sure to wear 100% waterproof clothes, not just water resistant. Rubber slicker suits are best. It can be nasty but if you stay dry it'll be unforgettable

I fished in Venice in August and we tore them up when all other captains weren’t catching anything! Captain Hunter with paridice outfitters. Awesome trip freezer full of tuna!
