Best pistol platform to shoot suppressed

Besides a rimfire such as a Ruger mk series. I understand .45 & 9mm would be optimal cartridges. I’m looking more for make and models.

Not many know you can suppress THAT revolver

Sub ammo in normally supersonic calibers is almost always more expensive and hard to get. The smaller the cartridge, the less gas, the better a suppressor can work. The .45acp is ideal.

So is the pistol you suppress for shooting fun or to carry? Because I think a suppressed carry pistol would be tough to carry. Could be wrong. Now in the case of a home or vehicle pdw I would go with something like pictured above or one of a few other option of the same calibers.
