      That's a fact Jack!

I have the Buddy that I use in the blind on cold days. It has a 4000 btu and 8000 btu settings. With the windows open I've only used it on the lower setting. I think I'd be peeling off clothes if I put it on 8000,

I got heat now, but the frost is melting off of the inside of the roof..
        Oh well.
I was warm except for my toes.
1/2 tempted to take my rubber boots off to thaw my toes out...

It depends on how airtight your blind is and what it’s made out of.

I have a 4x6x6 sheathed with 3/4” plywood. I have (4) deer view 12x24 windows and the door is gasketed.

The Mr Buddy will keep it plenty warm on low down into the low 20s. Anything below that and it has to be on high.

I’ve gone in it when it was 7° and on high it would keep it in the 50s in the blind on high (I have a thermometer in the blind).

The little Buddy is going to struggle much below 30.

                    Easy Blind Heater:

Coffee can, roll of toilet paper and bottle of rubbing alcohol. Put toilet paper roll into the coffee can, pour the bottle of rubbing alcohol into the can , let it soak into the toilet paper and (wallah) you have a nice inexpensive heater. Place lid on can when done and re use. add rubbing alcohol as needed.

We used to use these back in the 70s before Mr Buddies... Grandaddy Smart burned down our best blind with one but we kept on using them after the rebuild. **** that was 40 years ago..

Used them years ago, and often thought about how easy it would be to burn alive trapped in a deer blind.
