Dad got his cow elk this morning!

Pretty much went like my bull hunt other than I only had to stop her with a call. & he was using his Weatherby 300 mag. 258 yard shot.
Woke up & there were 3 cows a calf & a real nice bull about 130 yards off the back porch. As it got light enough to see good they headed to the east to one of our ponds. We followed them as soon as they went over the hill.
As we crowned the hill we could see them & they saw us. Dad got a good rest on a square baler that was out there . I ranged them at 258 yards & when one got broad side I cow called & stopped her. Rest is history. Got a few more pictures while I was out this morning also.
