    Fried Green Tomatoes

    I went to Georgia last year and had my first Fried Green Tomatoes. I picked some yesterday. Any recipes?

    Peel green tomato, then slice about 3/16" thick and add salt and black pepper. Dip tomato slice in milk and then dredge in CORNSTARCH. Fry in hot vegetable oil. Makes for a crispy fried green tomato. Killer side for smothered venison backstrap! Think I'll have some tomorrow night.

      Thanks Airtech. I certainly wouldn't have thought about cornstarch. Would have used flower or cornmeal without your help. Hopefully I will have time for some this weekend.
