I had this .50cal TC muzzleloader for many years and took several deer with it. But a couple of years ago I had an issue with the ignition nipple and didn't feel safe shooting it anymore. I had since bought a new rifle and while cleaning out the closet I ran into her again so I started to think then came up with this idea:
Sanded her and the disk for the base
Drilled a hole through the length of the stock and in the breech of the barrel
Touch her up with some lacquer and flat black paint
Attach one lamp kit
and here's the result
