I'm going to be in Waco this weekend for late Christmas with family, and I wondered if anyone duck hunted the lake there. I have a boat and was looking for someone that wants to go or may be able to point me in a direction. Yes, I know this is a touchy subject. I've got private places near West that I'd be happy to take someone too for a little info. I've done my sat image scouting. I just don't have the time available to scout and hunt that lake, and this will likely be the only time I get down there this season. Would like to pull into a decent spot and hunt. Do you have to get drawn to be permitted to duck hunt there?, at least thats the way it used to be, each group got to hunt a week or two consecutive. -
