    New "Dog House" rifle blind

I'm planning on building a new rifle blind for next season.

I'm planning on it being 6'x7' with deerview door and windows.

It'll be elevated 10' to the floor.

I'm looking for ideas and/pics of what the put on the inside. (Not the over done powered south Texas blinds of the rich)

    Lil buddy heater
    Office chairs
    Shelves and coat hooks

I plan on using the roof as a water catch and a couple 275 tanks for water storage under the blind.

    Any other ideas out there?

Another idea rather then an actual door, enter through a hatch door from the bottom. We started doing this on our last three 5x5's we built and it's great! One less area to worry about leaks and as long as windows are good and tight you will never have a wasp or yellow jacket issue. Just an idea.....

I thought of a trap door but I'm using scaffolding boards for the floor supports

House wrap or tar paper installed before you cover the outside go a long ways in waterproofing.

          It needs a urinal.

            Plenty of trees need watering.

            Or a bottle.

I've got a set of stairs with a landing and propane bottle holder planned.

            Mr buddy heater plumbed in.

I've got some deer view windows. I'm wanting to mount them at an angle to prevent leaks.

            Usb charging station.

            Green led interior lights

Cell signal booster. (I hope I can get a signal to boost)

                I plan on it.

I've located a nice spot. It'll be 162 yards from the feeder overlooking a draw.

The stairs and a full size door will be nice, a porch helps getting in more comfortably as well.

Excellent advice, you will not be sorry on these. I put regular stairs every time, I'm done with those little stairs or ladder type ones. Put your ideas on paper, you will be amazed at what you think of....as you can see on my latest build. 8x8 with a 30" door and 7' ceiling, plenty of room for 2.

If you build the frame 6x10 and the box 6x7 you can get a 6x3 porch. I did this with a 5x5 stand I have. I made the frame 5x8 and the box 5x5 that left me with a 5x3 porch. Hope that makes since. You will not regret the porch for them hot days and moon lit nights.

This is the type of stairs I'm planning.
