    Frozen pipe

    Woke up this morning to a frozen pipe. It was the hot water side of the bathroom faucet. It is thawed now and working. Water pressure seems normal. My question is should i be worried about a busted pipe at this point?

    House=pier/beam
    Heater=upstairs
    Faucet=downstairs

    Sounds like you may have lucked out since water pressure seems ok. I would monitor it closely just in case though.

        Make sure you have ALL water faucets, dishwashers, washing machines, etc turned off. Go out to your water meter and check the meter. If it is moving, you have a leak. If it isnt, you are good.

        I bet you are good.

          If you do it will be at a fitting and not the tube itself.

              I got lucky today that none of mine were frozen. I have a pier and beam as well and I had to leave for work at 5 am. My wife did not notice anything today. Been running busted pipe calls all day today. I'll probably be under my house tomorrow checking things
