Taxidermy recommendation - Hill Country

So I’m hoping I’ll need some taxidermy work after my Thanksgiving trip to Bandera. I’d like to use my taxidermist here in NM, but I honestly don’t know how to fully cape a skull out so I can get it back here, and don’t have a freezer to keep a whole head and cape in before we get on the road back to NM.

So I’d rather find a good one in that San Antonio area that I could take either a deer or a stag to. Thanks for the suggestions.

If you want your taxidermist to do it take it to a processor and have them cape it. Most charge around $25.00

My son has used both Chance Love and Dan Lansford (Professional Taxidermy Studio, Cedar Park, TX). They both did great work and delivered on target, on time and on budget.
