Post YOUR best Canine Friend.....Love 'em

I can't think of a better place for those who love their "Best Buddy" dog friends than the GS.

Wife and I were BBQ'ing this evening, watching our 4 "Buddies" chasing squirrels, smelling, exploring, keeping us entertained.

Thought about Kuma....still can't look at a photo of him without tearing up. There have been many "Kuma's" over the years. Rots, Dobbies, GSH, Pointers and many mutts. But there are always those who come back to say HI in my dreams.

This is my best buddy....Myla....a rescue from some LOW LIFE that was dumped on the road with the rest of the litter. All of them ran off, but not Myla. 80 lbs of Catahoula "mix," but smart, faithful and a simple joy for my golden years.

Been several OP's this past month on "buddies lost," it hurts so much, I know. They give their all and are more than worth all the sometimes torment they can cause.

Enjoy and when you lose your "best buddy," eventually you will find another "best buddy" to fill the void and love. Rainbow Bridge..they are waiting for "their" best buddy someday.

    Myla....
