DIY Stand and Fill Sled Style Feeder w/ Conduit?

Has anyone ever designed and built a 55 gallon stand and fill sled style feeder?

Looking for a simple idea. Prefer to keep it under $200 all in on parts per feeder and minimal welding.

Bound to be some innovative ideas in the TBH Brain Bank! Let's hear them.

Something like this but with conduit and screwed together [IMG]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171224/4bf975bef51f2982c1f6fae20db44959.jpg[/IM

A TBHer made my bases and then placed my barrels on them. Mine were $200 and less. One was for an 85 gallon and the other for a 55 gallon.

Has any one had problems with hogs turning over stand and fill, that don't have a plate to keep feed out from under? Just wondering

I have not but I own a stand and fill 650 lb. My .02 would be to make the capacity larger.

We have not had any problem with the hogs or any other critters turning them over or tearing anything up on them.

Glad Brunner started this thread, after seeing this I think I will build one.

X2 thanks for starting this thread. I'm in the market for a new stand and fill but after seeing this I just might build my own!

Love ours and no problems with hogs. Just make sure that you make it coon proof.

Never had any issues with hogs turning one of these over or even moving them.
