Changing Brake Pads on 4 wheeler

I have a 1995 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 and I need to change the brake pads or I think that is all I need to do. I can tighten the adjustments nuts by the rear axle on the right side and get a little bit of brake but not enough to come to a decent stop. Does anyone know how hard it is or will I be better off taking it to a dealer?

I changed my front and rear pads on my '06 Grizzly..........really wasn't a hard job. I can't imagine your 95 being much different.

I have looked at the prices of the pads, and should be able to do it for about $60.00 if I do it my self. I just hope that is all it needs is the pads, I have looked at the cost of some of the major parts for the brakes and I will just do with out or buy another 4 wheeler.
