Where's the rain?

I have said for many years that it was a safe bet that it would rain the last week of August. Looks like this year that is a losing bet.

Nothing to blame the bird hunting on this year.

Forecasted for us Wednesday but only a 50% chance. Pop up shower is all if we even get that lucky.

Well at least this opening day should be a slaughter with hot temps and scarce water. Should be able to tear them up at the watering holes in the evenings

I'm hoping for some late summer early fall rains. I just ordered seed and last year my food plot was a dust bowl until Christmas.

We got over 1/2" last night out of nowhere!

We got sprinkles in Idalou.... looked really good and split/dissipated as moved over west Lubbock towards us. Rain north and south, but not on us. Better chance this evening
