          Yes i cut it down to save on water and covered half with ply board to help with evaporation.

            I did the same with a roof and stand. Only difference is I want the quail to have water. Under the tote I hog paneled the stand and placed the float and bowl. Each pasture has plenty of water for deer.

            I got a 1inch harbor freight pump that works really well. 30 mins total full up and refill.
