Arrived here today for this relatively short hunt. Noon today through noon tomorrow. Just myself and a guy here with his kid. Ranger was nice and drove me to each tripod to pick one I liked best

35mph winds out here with gusts up to 50mph. Should be go time soon hopefully. Buzzards are circling in anticipation....

Finished out the evening no action. The biologist and I agreed the tropical storm force winds probably limited movement. Got here early today and corn is still on the ground. Good sign as it was all gone when I arrived yesterday.
