Has anybody had problems with theft? Is it s good idea to lockem up?

I use the chain on my Gametamers and lock it with a padlock.

i had a chain around mine and locked and they still got it

I used a cable lock combo when I put my climber out at Hagerman. I usually use a climber and seldom leave it out overnight without it being cabled up.

They can't steal them if they can't find them....

I chain and lock mine just to be sure, but like JaMan says........they can't steal it, if they can't find it.

I don't leave mine in the woods and have yet to lose one.

If they can't find it, they can't steel it! Also, you could remove your steps or climbing sticks from the tree before you leave.

at my lease i lock all 3 of mine but i agree w/flint remove the bottom portions and just carry them in when you hunt.. pretty sad that scum would steal gamecams and stands
