Just for a little twist on your question. As a taxidermist I have been tipped a few times. I never would expect a tip nor ever thought if I would tip a taxidermist. I would say if your mount was over and above your expectations why not?

My last client tipped a me a 1911 in 10mm! Ive also received cash, custome knives, etc., invites to leases(when I was in Texas) etc.

Pretty sure the “tip” is rolled into the final cost so you can walk away in confidence and square with your Maker. The “tip” imo is repeat business for quality work.
