    2 Drill presses ???

I have a large gear head floor press I use quite a bit. I have often considered getting a smaller bench top version to do smaller stuff on. Anyone run two drill presses?

I have also thought I could spend that $ on something else I don’t have...

    I do kinda.
Have a small bench press/verticals mill and a floor drill press.

Do you find yourself using the bench press for smaller stuff?

2 presses and a vertical mill and I'd actually like to add a couple more comes in really handy when you'd like to leave one or two setup for a project but still have need for a drill

He who dies with the most drill presses wins.

I always drooled over a nice baby Bridgeport.

I'm a hobbyist knifemaker too and I run 3 drill presses!! I HATE changing out bits!!! always seem to gouge my finger somehow tightening or loosening. I have 2 WEN benchtop models for my 1/8 and 1/4" pins and a floor model Porter Cable for my bigger holes to lighten the tang...AND I have a mini mill that I don't use all that often. I tried getting by with my floor mounted drill press, but when my benchtops go out, they'll get replaced as fast as I can get them shipped to me!haha

I have 5 . Saves having to change out drill bits sometimes when doing a project , one floor mounted for bigger bits . Certainly don`t have to have that many but comes in handy sometimes .

                    Yeah those bridgeports are nice.

I have a gear head baileigh I think its a gp1000 something like that. Just seems like sometimes it would be nice to have a smaller bench top type for some small stuff.
