    Droptine question..

Need some help from TBH on this one. I have asked around gotten mixed answers on this. So what do y'all think, are main beams that curve straight down like this considered drop tines?? Or does it have to be branched off the antler? I shot this buck around 10 years ago and I have never considered it a drop tine but some people have told me it is.

Is it a point that would be scored a tine? Or is it scored as the main beam?
I think that's where the answer is.

I think your right i guess if i were to ever score the deer i would measure it as main beam length. Ive always called it a drooping main beam.

Tines, whether going up or down, grow off of the mainbeam. That is just a turned down mainbeam.

No. A drop tine comes off the bottom of the beam. That is the beam.

It would be measured as the main beam not a point.
