Open Galveston Ramps

My family and I are staying at a house in Jamaica Beach on the canal. The owner notified us that the ramp was closed to all except property owners, even though we are renting his place. I love that little ramp.

Anyway, are others closed on the island? Anyone know if the ramp east of 45 on Jones Bay on Tiki Island is open. They could drop me off there to launch on our way and meet me at Jamaica?

Just be careful, watched a guy back his single axle trailer off the end a couple months ago. That was a circus.

The ramp on I-45 at Jones Lake is a public Galveston County ramp. I haven't heard anything about a closure.
