Hull only should be under 100. Hull, motor, prop and cage hopefully 225-250 (hopefully)

Once the second boat is built we will have a system to hook them side by side for bow fishing. So we can shoot some more of these big boys.

I would think the size you are building is a one person boat? You think a 4x10 with a 35hp would do two people good?

I had a 1060. 10'long and 5 foot wide with a 50something hp motor. It did ok with 2 people but would really scoot running it solo. I could push my truck down the road with it and after too much beer and a little rain I could do donuts in the yard with it.

That sounds like just about the right amount of beer.

Never had a spool gun. I had an arc stabilizer for my Bobcat 225. Bet the spool gun is pretty slick. Looks slick anyway. Great build!

Way off on price. This is everything needed plus have one stick of square left and a half sheet of aluminum. Per boat. This is three 4x8 sheets of 5052 and five- 24 foot sticks of one inch 11 ga square tubing.

May be a dumb question, but does anyone ever run sponson type floatations off the back like a jet drive boat or mud boat to help with weight back there? Seems like could help, just never seen it on an airboat

That is a great build, but looks like it would be scary unstable on the water. Have you ran one that size?
