Ok, I think the fire pit can stay home and my back will thank me. I'll make a store run tomorrow for a few more cases of beer, and some cases of water. Extra chairs, ice, more table cloths and some tape to keep them on, got the fire extinquisher in the truck and my speedo...

Just kidding on that last part

Nothing from our crew. I'm not going to worry about it.

Tortillas? Should I bring some for breakfast?

Got some wood loaded in the pit, so it should be dry. I'll light it up and get the breakfast on and head that way in the morning.

Should be a good time.

Don't have a hotel so, I'll have to do it remotely.
I'm working my tail off. 5:30 is a long way away!

Look who showed up!

Made it home safe and sound. Now the work begins. Lots of clean up.

Lots of thank yous to go around.

Gentlemen it's been a privilege.

Spencer, thank you for your help. You were right there helping and I really appreciate it.

Clint, Andy, thanks for helping me get the birds dressed and in the tanning booth.

There were too many to name in setting up and taking down the canopies, so thank you to all that helped.

TRUST me when I say, Thank you to ALL! This wouldn't have been a success without your help.

If I didn't call you out by name it's not because I don't appreciate your help.

Those guys above were there just about every time I turned around. Heck Perow even went and got me some mudbugs while I was cooking.

Budd, sorry you got to feeling so crummy. Hope you get to feeling better. If I don't see you sooner, I hope to see you during the season. Hopefully we can catch up some more.

Bruce and the Gordita team. Pleasure meeting y'all. Y'all are welcome to use the pit anytime. Enjoyed having y'all around.

Well.....Off to work I go, just wanted to give a thanks, in case I "forget" later. ( You know because I'm napping!!!)

Had a good time and it was good seeing you all again. The Gorditas were awesome as usual with my morning coffee. Kids had a good time. My son had three plates of crawfish. Said his mouth was burning. First thing he said when he woke up this morning was he wished I would have saved him some for today. Thank you Damian for all the work you do. Until I see y'all again take it easy.

Yes sir, wish I was able to chat more, but you know that pit calls my name!
I enjoy cooking, but sometimes I wish I could get away more and chat.
Thanks for all the help.

If you happen to remember picking up a couple pairs of those gloves that would be awesome. I noticed the one pair I have has a cut in one of the fingers.

I've been seeing a pair on FB that have a magnet in them and are supposed to be easy to take off...But it seems kind of gimmicky.
