Back at it today

I just got back in the tree. These live hunts never seems to work for me but I’m giving it another go. My target buck came in last night with only 3-4 minutes of shooting light left. I had already lowered my bow down and packed up when he came out. I hauled my bow back up and nocked an arrow as he was coming around. I put my bow up and couldn’t see my pins. For the first time last night I was glad to see hogs show up because he took off and I was able to get down.

I’m not sure if he’ll show tonight but he’s an evening regular.

Wiseman tip of the day

Bring spray bottle full of water, small towel, soak towel, lay it on your shoulders or head.
Spray your shirt down with water every 30 min.
