Anyone here serve with C Troop (Reds) 1/9 Cav in 1969?

If so, and you knew Charles Irling Smith, we are looking for those that served with him anytime in his career. In '69, he was a Captain and guns leader and XO for C Troop.

Thanks Froggy. That is all I have found on him. We are building bios of our guys for a Heritage Project. I am an old 1/8 Troop myself.
One thing I found said he was XO ( I assume Troop XO), and this article indicates Squadron S3 (Hence Cavalier 3-Ops).
I sent an email to some of the C Troop guys last night. Hopefully will get something.
