2015 Hagerman Hog Hunt Seg B check-in

Looks like the sun wants to come out.

On our way out on Saturday we came across 2 hogs that had been taken and had the legs and backstraps removed right off of the road that runs down BM. It was pretty graphic and I hope whoever was responsible was planning on returning to hide it from being so out in the open.

We also came across a huge area where the hogs had been rooting on the main road that we don't think was there on the way in. We worked hard to get away from the crowds and then laughed to think they could have been right there on the road. They also done some seriouse digging around the fences near the main entance.

They were everywhere except where we were.

I moved and just set up. Walked a lot this morning but I think I'm going to sit for a while. I'm on a small hill top where I can see for a long way unfortunately the wind keeps shifting.

You're right Texascala. It's crazy how much fresh sign there is but I wasn't able to catch up to any of them. Had a great time though. Such a nice and well kept place.

Had a great time and saw hogs every morning. Walked 30 plus miles this weekend in snake boots. My feet and legs are trashed.

It was rough weekend a lot of miles on my sore feet but had a great time. Shot this big boar yesterday while eating lunch. he came strolling down a trail while I was eating. Look forward to next year.
