He's not 13". Nobody knows your goals but you. If killing a legal deer is what you're trying to do he should be there next year. Nothing wrong with that either contrary to what most on here seem to think. We all have different goals, the law is what matters.

The first buck I killed with my bow was a yearling 7 point. I got him shoulder mounted and still have him. Every time I look at him I remember everything I saw, smelled, and felt on that morning. It's not always about how big the antlers "could" get one day.
