You will be hunting the same unit with us look forward to meeting a fellow TBH'er up there.

Deer Creek is the northern portion of the base. The biggest majority of hunters anytime I have been there hunt the west end of the unit.
For me this will be my 5th trip up there so hopefully I can give you some useful info.
Here are a few pointers as you study places to hunt.
1. Don't worry about having to go far to find deer. You can hunt way back or up close to roads and still be in good deer.
2. Don't overlook hunting around bunkers. I usually try to hunt areas where most people don't go. When doing that if I am sure no one is hunting in the bunker area's I will make a midday stalk through the bunkers. I have come close several times easing through them.
3. Green fields will usually have multiple people hunting all around them so for me I tend to stay away.
4. If you find a stand that belongs to a white hat you are definitely in a location to see some good deer. Most of the white hats don't have any problems with you hunting their stands either.
