Spider Bite?

I know we have a lot of snake experts here. Any spider experts? Woke up this morning to go to the stand and noticed my ankle itched. It’s a little swollen and sore but nothing major.

I just started putting tea tree oil on it in case it is a brown recluse bite. Guy I know has been bit 2-3 times by them and doesn’t think it is. But I’m no expert.

So what says TBH?

I'm gonna say I cant tell. Might consider a magic marker and draw a line around the larger redness and the smaller "bullseye" and watch it for 24 hrs and see if it grows or shrinks. If it grows seek medical opinion

Been bit twice by recluse neither time did it look like that both of my bites had a swollen center and I don’t remember any itching until it started to heal

just being cautious simply due to my personal concerns, but have you ever been hit by a bee or yello jacket & know the reaction??

I'm allergic, carry an epi-pen so any and all bites get my attn...my first trip to the hospital was a yellow jacket right above the tinny shoe.

Always looks like a pimple at first then gets worse
First time rotted a hole out between my ribs like leopracy

More times than I can count. Now that you mention, I did swat a wasp to the ground last night. I doubt it stung me because i didn’t feel a thing and then stepped on it. But I guess it’s possible. That Rocky Mountain water had been flowing a long time by that point.

Based on my google skills, I’m doubting brown recluse as well. But I’ve circled the redness for monitoring.

Get you a big chew of red man tobacco. Once good and moist put it on there a few minutes. Cures anything.
