I'm heading out tomorrow. We stay at the Cromwell 90% of the time.

Use ride sharing, uber or lyft. Taxis are way over priced. Happy hour at margaretaville inside flamingo has nickle beer 5-6.

X2!!! I go usually once a year and drive there most of the time. When flying I rent a car so I can take the old lady shopping at the outlet malls. For center strip I like the bellagio. If you get a car don’t be afraid to stay on the south end of the strip. Lots to do and all the casinos are attached essentially. I like Luxor Mandalay Bay and mgm grand. and when we’ve taken the kids Excalibur since it’s a castle.

They charge for parking now most places though.

We usually stay at Harrah’s. It’s right in the middle across the street from Cesar and mirage.

Never take a cab in Vegas... Uber is the only way to get around. Also, check out the show Absinthe. Any seat is good and you will entertained, embarrassed and offended all at the same time.

If you have access to IHG (Holiday Inn Points) stay at the Palazzo Hotel. Its part of the Venetian. Wife and I stayed there in Feb and it was perfect. Everything is around you.

Ive stayed at MGM (6), Signature at MGM (1), Wynn (1), Palazzo (1), Mandalay Bay (2), Tropicana (1)

All are good choices. Also everything looks alot closer than it is!

See where the shows you are going to are located and then take a look at snap. You may find a “streetwise Las Vegas” map at most bookstores. Check Vegas.com for shows and packages. Uber/Lyft or rental car for getting around and if there are others going deal with multiple hotels on everything. I leave on Saturday for a convention out there.

Top. Thinking about taking my wife for a long weekend. She's never been to Vegas. Any thoughts on where to stay? Should probably go middle of the strip, I guess.

Cosmopolitan gets my vote. Can’t beat the view.

Ours as well. I'm not a seasoned vet. I've only been 3 times but really liked our say there

if you stay on east side of strip like Ballys or Harrahs the Vegas monorail is on that side and you can ride up and down the strip without too far to walk.
