Had a chance to hunt a low fence ranch around Three Rivers this past weekend. Temp never got much over 34 and there was a constant misting rain. Put in a lot of hours on the stand till this buck appeared in the last half hour of shooting light Saturday evening. Was very iffy if he would offer a shot but I stayed focused until he made the mistake at 18 yards and allowed me to draw. Clean pass through and a pile up 40 yards later. There was no ground shrinkage on this buck. Not scored yet but he is an 11 and was aged at 8.5. Thank you God for a perfect ending to a season!
