Was given a bottle and suffered through it but I wouldn't buy a bottle.

        Too sweet for my whiskey

And you can also send them a hide, or your own boots and they'll make you some caps for free! Sending them my blackbuck scraps soon.

Not a fan here, too sweet. I have had worse, but I won't be buying any more. However, if you take a jar of maraschino cherries, pour about half the juice out, and fill the jar with the TX Whiskey and let sit for two weeks, you will have cherries that taste almost like chocolate. Very good

I don't care for the vanilla taste. I will try their bourbon though.

23 posts and no one has mentioned the brand name yet. I am so lost. What are we talking about here?

I think they started out by coming up with a blend so they would have something to sell while their bourbon aged.

It's called TX Whiskey and I agree with others, too sweet for my pallette especially at the price it now commands.

Firestone and Robertson distillery in Fort Worth. TX whiskey is their blended whiskey and they are expected to be releasing a straight bourbon soon. The bourbon has been aging for about 3.5-4 years I believe.

I got a bottle last Christmas. Its not bad but not sure I'd pay $30 plus a bottle for it. I tried finding info. on it and there isn't much out there. If I'm remembering correctly, its not distilled in Ft. Worth, just bottled. From what I could find, they buy whisky and blend/bottle it. I typically drink Scotch and I really like Weller for a good all around bourbon.
