Any of you guys headed out the next couple weeks be prepared for a huge number of biting flies and be prepared. The horse flies or whatever the correct name is are terrible. Long sleeve shirt mandatory for sure. Had 50+ swarmed around my pickup earlier.

I got bit a few times by some horse flys this past weekend. First time I remember them being bad since if been in Tom Green county.

Was in Irion for the first time since early Feb and Holy Heck was it green and overgrown. Man what a difference a yr makes.

We’ll be out this weekend putting out another round of protein. We ended up catching some more rain. I’m excited to see how green it still is. Looks like deer were hitting the feeders a little harder this past week or so. This is from another members area. Looking good!!
