That hard bump may have flexed something enough it either came unplugged or the hose was rotten and broke, think vacuum leak

Nice tintop, wouldn't take much to fix it and you will be proud you have it when it gets cold and wet

I will be watching if you decide to sell it though my buddy says I only buy things that Need fixing

I had a similar issue with my Sami with regards to running bad, sounding like it was sucking air and the carburetor (aftermarket) screws had ended up working their way loose causing it run badly. You could literally move it around, it was that loose. I took it apart and tightened everything back down and she runs like a top again. It was actually the spacer that the carb sits on top of that was loose.

Well I came on back to start loading up and went to move Sami and it runs like brand new again. Runs perfect driving around yard. Guess I'll go pick jim up in little be and see! Only thing we did last night was tap on carb sides with screw driver. Maybe float stuck or something. I drove regular truck to drop him off and half way to my spot
