Tailgate bench

Recently put together this tailgate bench with my father-in-laws help.

Waiting on my wife to put the final paint/stain touches on it. Will post more pics once it is complete.

What is on the top? Is that wood or metal?

That's a piece of metal trim that is original with the tailgate.
