Shortening a Trad Bow?

    I have Bows from 48" to 72" and i just don't think the short stuff shoots as well, that said I am 6'2". my 3D recurve for this year is a 70" model

      and there really nothing "unwieldy" about a Longbow after a bit it just becomes part of your arm. you walk thru the brush without a thought about how long it is.

        I agree on the Kodiak Magnums. They are a fun bow to shoot and it is very easy to find a really nice one for not much money on Ebay. Most days I see at least three or four new listings. I quit buying them when I woke up and realized that I have five. Early sixties had smaller grips and the late sixties bows started to resemble the profile of the Kodiak Hunter.
        The majority of the listings that I see are 43-47# bows.
