Let's hear it for the USA Women's Hockey Team on taking the Gold Medal away from Canada at the Olympics. Last Gold for Team USA Women's Hockey was in 1998.

Also, great escape to hold Canada off during that late penalty, putting it into OT.

Happy that team USA won but it’s unfortunate that a gold medal game, especially one of that caliber, had to be decided in a shootout. Would have loved to see it decided by them continuing to play hockey instead of deferring to a skills contest.
