We had a sunflower heater on a 20lb tank in there too. Gets it to sweatshirt temps in there. Need good boots or your feet freeze.

Perch are excellent eating. That would almost make sitting on the ice fishing through a tiny hole worth it.

Looks like a fun trip.

No lying, the 15 min it takes to set up are hell. My face was frozen, beard was white. Had snot dripping so I snorted it back up and my nostrils froze together. But once the heaters are on it warms to sweatshirt weather in ten min. Then you hold your **** as long as possible so you don't have to go back out!

I really miss ice fishing!!!! Looks like you're having a great trip!!

When you get in the shallower water, lay down with your face in the hole and cover your head with a jacket....... you'll be able to see weed lines and structure

Looks like you guys had a blast. Good sized yellow perch.
For those that have never ice fished. Its not as cold as it seems. Your dressed for it and the right equipment helps. Wind is the killer. Those pop ups do the job well.
