2018 TPWD Draw Hunts - let the fun begin

Well that's a wrap. Between my son's youth hunts and my entries today, we had a total of 13 potential wins. We got one. My son was drawn for youth hog at Daugherty. I'm glad for him, it's his last year for youth eligibility and he didn't get drawn for any of the other bazillion youth hunts we applied for this season. So at least he got selected for one and hopefully has a chance for a hog or two in March.

Got drawn for East Lake! Drew Teniente last year and got a Nilgai cow. Going to hold out for a bull this year!Anyone hunted there? Also drew private land Terrell county ranch. Pretty good year

Gotcha, looks like RCWMA is gonna flood anyways and they will be canceling hunts.

Everything else I have went pending second draw. The hogs should be fun and I pulled a good one down at Granger so I’m happy with my season.

I was drawn! Elephant Mountain WMA Rifle Mule Deer, 1/1-1/4. Does anyone have any experience with this hunt? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
