I get one ever year, got one last week. Made my arm sore and I drank whiskey. Thought about a Mcrib sammich and a bowl of chili beans fer supper.

I get a flu shot every year... and Ipretty much get the flu every year as well. However as an ER nurse, I get exposed to virtually every strain of flu going around so if it prevents me from catching it even ONE additional time, I'll do it every time.

She got GBS (∑ Guillain-Barre Syndrome ). Did the doc not diagnose her with that?

Several reasons I received the flu vacc. 1, I've got a baby in the NICU, and will do anything to help protect him. 2, I am a healthcare construction superintendent, and our main client Seton requires flu vaccs if you're working in the hospital. I would get it regardless of the aforementioned.
