Well done guys, one heck of a hunt for you two. Sounds like you all have similar story to mine. My buddy and I hunted Colorado for 30 plus years as well and used horses like you DIY. I am 62 while my friend is 72 and the years have caught up with him and he no longer can go. Made some awesome memories. Congrats

He's not much for technology but I can tell you when he called me every other day it was like talking to a different man. He was clearly having a great time and I was saddened each time we hung up. I really wanted to be on that mountain with the man who raised me to be who I am. I owe everything to him.
If you don't mind as I'm very proud of him for this hunt. 276 yards with a 300 H&H made in 1958 shooting hand loaded bullets. My hero
