    Fall Cucumbers?

Was thinking about planting some around Labor day. Does anyone do this? Do they grow as good as spring time?

They will do good. If you are planting them from seed I would start my seed inside about the middle to end of August. That way they will have a lil more time until the frost catch them

Most fall veggies (same ones you'd plant in spring) do really well in the fall. They come up and grow really fast because ground temps are so high. But you better water them every day early on unless you are getting some rain. They will dry out and die in a day or 2 in 100° temps.
