For someone who has never hunted in Mexico but is very interested, what is the typical cost for a hunt? Or is there a typical cost?

I want to start putting back but need an idea of how much.

That's all subjective to what you want. I would say you can get an "outfitted" hunt for as low as $2500 to as high as "X" depending on the deer you shoot.

If you want to get on a lease, I'd plan on paying $2500 on the low side to as much as "X" depending on the lease you are able to get on. Then you have all your expenses with travel, feed, etc, etc....
